The natural environment is affected by every war there has ever been. It's the place they trample as they run towards their enemies, or the bushes they hide when trying to find their target. As Car Bruch would say "The technology has changed, and the potential effects of the technology are very different". More often than not the things that are left devastated by the wars that take place is the environment. During the Vietnam war 20 million gallons of herbicide were used and 4.5 million acres of land was decimated. A lot of invasive species ride along with the supplies and soldiers that come to different countries during war. The environment takes war much worse than the soldiers because soldiers can be replaced but we cannot find another Earth.
